The successfyl anthology evening Seven Deadly Sins, Four Deadly Sinners is showing at Buxton Festival’s new Literary weekend. The wicked comedy starring Liza Goddard, Rula Lenska and Sara Crowe features heavenly drama, devilishly tall tales, poetry and seductive stories and will enlighten you on how to survive, or even live by, the Seven Deadly Sins!
Compiled by the award-winning scriptwriter and author of the first six Carry On … films, Norman Hudis, Seven Deadly Sins stars four fabulous stars of stage and screen. Liza Goddard first came to the public eye in the iconic 60s show, Skippy, and is well known for her appearances in Take Three Girls, The Brothers, Yes Honestly, Bergerac, Woof! and as one of the team captains in Give Us A Clue. Rula Lenska shot to fame as one third of the 70s girl band in Rock Follies, and has appeared in such long-running series as Doctor Who, Robin of Sherwood and Coronation Street. The evening will feature two more surprise temptresses. Sara Crowe is best known for her role in the UK hit film Four Weddings and a Funeral but also gained recognition for roels in the West End and for starring in Philaladelphie adverts in the 1990’s.

Buxton Festival’s new Literary Weekend featuring renowned speakers, will take place from Friday 31 till Sunday 2 November in the Pavilion Arts Centre. The Literary weekend will end with a Literary Lunch at the Old Hall Hotel which will include a 3 course meal and entertaining talks by Matthew Parris, Nicholas Parsons and a third surprise guest.
