Alexandra Sitwell will be opening up her home – Renishaw Hall – in north Derbyshire once again for hall tours this December.
Back by popular demand, the historic hall – home to the Sitwell family for almost 400 years – will be open for public tours on Wednesday 10th and 17th December. Group tours of the hall will also be available throughout December, pre-booking essential for both.
“We really hope to see lots of visitors to Renishaw Hall this Christmas time, giving you a feel of what my historic family home is like over the festive period” said Alexandra Sitwell, owner of Renishaw Hall and Gardens.
There will be guided tours of the hall with hot refreshments on offer in the old kitchen, with the hall dressed for a traditional family Christmas.
Public tours will be available at 1pm and 2.30pm on 10th and 17th December and on various dates in December for groups of up to 50 people.
Renishaw offers the perfect festive visit to a country house still very much lived in and loved by the Sitwell family.
