Baking competition to raise funds for charity !

Peak Shopping Village have joined forces with Age UK’s local fund raising committee to raise much needed funds to improve the lives of people in later life and support Age UK research projects. The fun Bake Off event will take place in the Old Station Building at Peak Shopping Village on Saturday July 26th..    

Three  finalists  from each of the three categories will be challenged to bake and present their winning cake recipe and design to a mixed judging panel of culinary experts,cake connoisseurs and baking enthusiasts. Bake off day will be great fun and an opportunity to bring and buy cakes to raise funds for Age Uk’s Derbyshire Committee, enjoy dancing from the Winster Morris Dancers and try your luck in the charity raffle.

Entering is easy, you can pick up entry forms from stores at Peak Shopping Village or download from the news pages at www.peakshoppingvillage.com. It is just £5 to enter for adults and £3 for children – ( 6-10 years of age, 11-15 years of age, and Adults ). “ The Charity Bake Off is a brilliant, fun and  interactive way of raising money to support the work of Age UK and the competition is open to all ages from children as young as six. Even if an entry doesn’t make the final, baking enthusiasts and cake lovers can come along and watch the bake off and support the charity by bringing some of their delicious creations to sell or raffle on the day!”
