Visit Eyam Hall and Craft Centre over the May bank holiday and take part in our family orientated activities.
Enjoy spending time in our walled gardens, and make yourself a kite, or build a mud pie; find creepy crawlies on a bug hunt, and learn to make your own bug hotel for your garden at home.
Bring a picnic to Eyam Hall and Craft Centre and enjoy all the activities we have to offer, quizzes, designing your own bug, bug spotting, bird identifying, kite making and flying as well as mud pie making. Relax in the gardens, enjoy the hall, or go on a walk exploring the village and its history. With care you may even be able to explore a cave. All of these activities are part of a wider programme offering families the chance to be more adventurous, and explore the outdoors; known as fifty things to do before you are 11¾ so you will be able to start ticking off some of the activities on your list. ‘I am really looking forward to making mud pies and bug hunting this weekend’ says Laura Kennedy, Visitor Experience Assistant; we have already built our bug hotel.
Family Activities 11 – 3, Saturday 24 May – Monday 26 May 2014
