Buxton Festival will be presenting three special Evenings in the Opera House with well-known figures, best-selling novelist Jeffrey Archer, Radio 4 presenter James Naughtie and explorer Ranulph Fiennes.
Bestselling author and former politician Jeffrey Archer talks about his colourful life and times on Sunday 13 July and broadcaster and writer James Naughtie talks to MP turned broadcaster Matthew Parris about politics, music and Scottish independence on Sunday 27 July 7.15pm
The Festival’s ‘Evening With’ events are rounded off by Sir Ranulph Fiennes on the last night of the Festival on Sunday 27 July. The world renowned explorer who continually pushed the boundaries of human endurance, talks to Anton Bowring about his career and time in the great frozen wilderness of the Poles.
The three fascinating talks will take place in Buxton Opera House and start at 7.15pm. Tickets are prices at £16 and £19.
This year’s Festival features 45 talks and three new creative writing workshops workshops as well as a nationally renowned opera and music series.
