Win a place on the Tideswell School of Food Mushroom Foraging Course

Mushroom Foraging CourseHere in the Peak District we are blessed with many species of mushrooms growing in the wild. But how do you identify the delicious edible types from the highly toxic fungi?

Our Mushroom Foraging courses led by foraging expert Dr Patrick Harding provide a superb insight into the wonderful world of wild mushrooms. After a short introduction from Patrick at the School of Food, you will head out and spend the morning scouring the beautiful countryside for edible mushrooms…and avoiding the poisonous ones! You will then be brought back to Tideswell for a light lunch before joining our Chef Tutor, Joe Hunt, in the kitchen for an afternoon of cooking with mushrooms.
