McArthurGlen East Midlands Designer Outlet has sponsored local slalom canoeist and future Olympic hopeful Bradley Wilson Hunt, as part of their existing tourism partnership within the community. As part of the sponsorship, Bradley has been treated to a fantastic new boat and kit, which bares the McArthurGlen East Midlands logo, which will be put to use whilst he trains in the area.
A partner of Visit Peak District, McArthurGlen East Midlands Designer Outlet is situated in the heart of North Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. With admirable community and council relations, the Centre has recently become more involved in the delivery of sport and leisure in Derbyshire through ICON. The 16 year old Alfreton athlete is fast becoming a local celebrity and currently ranks third in his division for juniors and men. Trained by top England coaches, he has also just been selected to paddle for the junior 16 squad and was asked by North East Derbyshire District Council to be a local ambassador for the 2012 Olympics.
