The Bakewell Music Festival has been founded by two like minds friends, Stuart Carter-Smith and Jonathan Rowlands. With a passion for all that is good in all forms of live music they have endeavored to stage an event that will please a live audience.
Stuart, who runs the International Guitar Festival ( also known as Gossington ) in Gloucestershire, also tours as a lead guitarist for Gypsyfire, who are appearing at this year’s festival. Jonathan has previously managed Rod Stewart and promoted the likes of Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdink and Nina Simone.
