It was wonderful to be a national winner for the second year running, having been Gold winners for Access for All in 2011. A real achievement, demonstrating that we provide top quality holiday accommodation for everyone, whilst taking care of our beautiful Peak District environment.
Commenting on the Award James Berresford, VisitEngland’s Chief Executive said “In a year when we received a record of 392 high quality applications winning a Silver Award is a considerable achievement. Hoe Grange Holidays has achieved one of the highest accolades for excellence in tourism which VisitEngland can bestow. I warmly congratulate them”.
In a double whammy for our fantastic Peak District area the Silver Award in this category was awarded to two business this year. We are delighted to share Silver with our good friends Martin and Deborah at Wheeldon Trees Farm Holiday Cottages. Both of us demonstrate a high commitment to sustainability and are Peak District Environmental Quality Mark holders and have Green Toursim Business Scheme Gold Awards.
